Pay Gratuities from A Cash Drawer In SkyTab POS
Gratuities are Paid as Wages Setting
If your location wants to pay gratuities from a cash drawer at the end of each shift, you will need to adjust the Gratuities are Paid as Wages Setting in your Business settings.
When this setting is on, all gratuities will be treated as pay and due to your employee on his or her paycheck.
If the setting is off, you would pay any gratuity from the cash drawer at the end of the employee's shift. This will affect the Cash Expected value of your drawer, as any gratuities will be subtracted from the cash in the drawer.
Disable the Setting
To disable this setting, use the following steps:
- Go to Manager > Settings > Business > Advanced on your SkyTab POS.
- Tap the Gratuities are Paid as Wages toggle to the OFF position.
- Tap Save when you are finished.
