Splitting a Ticket on SkyTab POS


Open the Ticket

Please note that splitting tickets requires special permission in SkyTab POS. If you attempt this process and are prompted for a manager PIN, you do not have permission to split tickets.

From the Open tab on Orders, tap your ticket to select it, then press the Open Ticket button.

Select Split

Press the Split button at the bottom of the screen, below the ticket.

Select the Seat

Select the seat to be moved to the split ticket by tapping on the seat icon.

If you tap on an item rather than the seat, you will only be able to move that item to the split ticket, not all of the items for that seat.

Tap S1 in the Split Ticket

With the seat from the previous step still selected (highlighted in blue), tap on the S1 icon on the empty ticket. The items for the seat on the original ticket will move to the split ticket.

If you make a mistake, use the Undo button. You can also cancel the splitting function by pressing Cancel in the lower right portion of the screen.

Save

Press the Save button to complete the splitting function. You will now see two orders with split icons on them (as shown here) on your Open Orders tab.
