Add A Gratuity To A Ticket On SkyTab POS
Before You Begin
You will need special permissions to be able to add a gratuity to a ticket. Unlike a tip, a gratuity is usually applied to a ticket automatically based on the number of guests on a ticket.
This process will take less than one minute to complete.
Gratuities are used in situations where a location wants to ensure that staff are tipped appropriately, usually for large parties.
On the Orders tab, select the ticket to which you want to add a gratuity. Press Open Ticket or double-tap on the ticket to open it.
With the ticket open, tap the Gratuities button.
On the Gratuities screen, select the gratuity you want to add.
Press OK when you are finished.
Once the gratuity has been added, tap the Take Payment button to settle the ticket.
