Enable Bump Station for SkyTab KDS

Description: Learn how to enable the bump station for SkyTab KDS. The Bump Station setting is used when you wish to show the progress of an order by showing when individual items on the order are completed.


In most situations, you would want Prep stations only to have this setting enabled to broadcast the status of each item on the ticket to an Expo station. For instance, if you have an order with a salad, fries, and a steak, you would want the displays at your salad prep station and fryer to broadcast to an Expo station that those items have been completed.

  1. Tap on the gear icon near the bottom left of the screen to open the Settings screen.

  2. Under Bump Station, toggle the setting ON for the Bump Station to activate the setting (recommended for Prep stations).

  3. When you are finished, tap Save.
