Control Unsaved Ticket Behavior on Auto Logout

Control Unsaved Ticket Behavior on Auto Logout

This procedure will take roughly 2 minutes to complete.

This procedure requires Manager permission.

When an employee is making changes to a ticket, leaves the POS station, and is automatically logged out, you can determine what you would like SkyTab POS to do with the unsaved changes.

By default, SkyTab POS will disregard the pending changes if the employee is automatically logged out. If you wish to change this behavior, use the following steps to change the setting to commit changes to the ticket and send it to the kitchen/printer when an employee is automatically logged out:

Navigate to Ticket Settings

While logged into SkyTab POS as a manager, tap on Manager > Settings > Tickets.

Change Send Ticket on Auto Logout

Tap on the dropdown for Send Ticket on Auto Logout and select the desired behavior from the dialog. Tap OK when you are finished.
